Thomas Pålsson is a Copenhagen based artist. Pålsson always bases his artworks on the specific location he’s outfitting. Its anatomy, architecture, identity, life and most importantly its history. Pålsson challenges the old saying ‘if walls could talk’, by giving them a voice with his art. Unique for Pålssons artworks is that they are always based on an inclusive co-creation process with the stakeholders in order to anchor the artworks to the location and the community surrounding it. The co-creation process has a dual purpose. If offers the insight - and influence - into the creative process for the participants, and offers the artists an inside look into what’s at stake in the given context. Pålsson masters several different styles, but his signature style is often made with black acrylic paint and acrylic marker.
