Yoyo Nasty

Artist and illustrator Yoyo Nasty uses humor and playfulness to create colorful images, often depicting lively figures like animals and plants. Through a method based on intuition, Yoyo creates a world of her own that invites the viewer through an imaginative and entertaining experience – with inspiration from cartoons for conveying visual stories and emotions. Reoccurring motifs are nature elements, dogs, tigers, and 80’s interiors – thing she finds decorative, inspiring or wish for at the moment. She is passionate about creating a fun and unique expression and works with strong color combinations that collide dramatically, yet balanced and in complete harmony. Yoyo Nasty is based in Stockholm with a MFA from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts, and Design.
