Our method

Our
method

The short story of how we curate contemporary art that strengthens your company’s body and culture.

We offer an all-round bespoke curatorial service to companies, organizations, and institutions that look to create unique and inspirational experiences for their customers, visitors and employees.

With large-scale murals, custom-made art installations, and curated original artworks, we can create spaces that invite creativity, creates a sense of belonging, and strengthens the narrative about our shared culture, history, and future in your company, organization, or institution. We do this in a three-step method: Investigation, curation, and implementation.

Investigation

First, we listen. Your needs, expectations, hopes, and dreams are the basis for our work.

In the investigation phase, we will learn as much as possible about your company, organization, or institution, including its history, future, culture, and any challenges or needs.

You do not need to be an art expert or know what kind of style, mediums, or artists you are looking for - this is what our curators will help you with. However, if you have artistic or stylistic preferences, this will be included as a part of the investigation phase.

In the investigation phase, we offer:

  • Questionnaire
  • Exploration meeting between you and our curator
  • Site evaluation (when applicable)
  • Bespoke project proposal including budget

The investigation phase is always free of charge since we wish to make sure that we match your expectations and needs.

Curation

Curation

This phase is when our curator truly gets to do their magic. Based on the project proposal, our curator put together a selection of artists and artworks and writes a curatorial outline with the idea behind the choice.

The Artboost Artist community is full of talented artworks and artists; however, our curators are also well connected and knowledgeable within the broader contemporary artist and gallery community in Denmark and keeps updated on relevant auction houses. Our curator will use this knowledge and network to meet your needs and dreams in the best possible way.

In the curation phase, we offer:

  • Suggestions and selection of artworks and artists
  • Sketches from the artists
  • Meetings between you and our curator
  • A written curatorial outline
  • A visual presentation with artworks, artists, sketches, and placements.

Implementation

Now it is time to make the dreams come to life, and we are here to make them happen.

Once relevant stakeholders have approved the curatorial outline, art, and artists, we have a team of inhouse project leaders, curators, carpenters, designers, and photographers ready to manage the process of collaborating with artists, buying and installing artworks as well as communicating your transformation.

In the implementations phase, we offer:

  • Purchase of artworks
  • Contracts and negotiation with artists
  • Project management
  • Installation of artworks
  • Visual presentation with artworks, artists, sketches, and placements.
  • Video and photo documentation to be used on your website/social media.
  • Online or physical art guide, with an introduction to the art, artists, and overall curatorial idea. (to be used in-house or as a part of a PR strategy)
